‘Patience wearing thin’ – Paratici and Levy to hold talks with Spurs player this week

Fabio Paratici and Daniel Levy will hold talks with Tanguy Ndombele this week, according to the Evening Standard.

The midfielder’s future with the club is in question and there will be a meeting this week to discuss the matter further.

Patience with the French international is said to be wearing thin within at the club and it is currently unclear of how the talks will unfold.

It was reported last month that the midfielder had told Spurs that he wants to leave the club during this summer transfer window, with the North Londoners having placed a £51.5m price tag on the 24-year-old’s head.

The midfielder is yet to play a minute of football under new manager Nuno Espirito Santo with the Portuguese claiming that the player has not been an option (Football.London).

No club could meet Spurs demands and there was a decision at board level, on deadline day, that Ndombele would remain a Tottenham player for this season.

I hope these talks will result in Ndombele knuckling down. He has it all on the pitch, but off it is where problems lie.

There is enough time left for him to work his way back into the midfield; it is all in the midfielder’s hands and he owes it to the club to give his all for the £200,000-a-week he earns.
