Paul Merson has predicted that Tottenham Hotspur will play out a high-scoring draw against Leicester City.
Tottenham’s trip to the King Power Stadium last season saw plenty of late drama, with Steven Bergwijn scoring twice in stoppage time to help the Lilywhites emerge with a 3-2 win.
The reverse fixture earlier this season also saw plenty of fireworks, with the game being finely poised at 2-2 at half-time before Antonio Conte’s men blew Leicester away with four second-half goals, which included a sensational Son Heung-min hat-trick.
Conte will be hoping for a much more defensively disciplined performance from his side on Saturday, particularly after they managed to keep a clean sheet against Manchester City last Sunday.
However, the Foxes come into this game on the back of putting four past Aston Villa at Villa Park last weekend, and Merson believes there will be another goal fest at the King Power Stadium tomorrow.
The former Arsenal midfielder told Sportskeeda: “Tottenham have got six points from their last two games in the Premier League. If Harry Kane wasn’t playing, they would’ve got only one point. He’s just a phenomenal finisher. With him in the team, Tottenham are in the top-four race.
“James Maddison is back for Leicester, and he makes a massive difference for the team. They were excellent against Aston Villa and scored four goals away from home.
“I thought Leicester and Tottenham had brilliant results last weekend – they were both outstanding. This is a hard game, and it’s going to be entertaining. Leicester score goals, and I think they’ll be able to hold Tottenham to a draw.”
Prediction: Leicester City 2-2 Tottenham Hotspur.

I personally do not think Conte will rotate the squad too much despite the fact that there is a big game at Milan coming up on Tuesday. Apart from the two forced changes (Forster for Lloris and Sanchez for Romero), the only other player I can see coming into the starting eleven is Ryan Sessegnon.
