Roman Pavlyuchenko

Oleg Artemov, the agent for Roman Pavlyuchenko has spoken of his expectation that the Russian will extend his stay at White Hart Lane.

Spurs have been in contract talks with Pavlyuchenko for a couple of months, after the striker produced a remarkable turn around in fortunes to become a key member of the Tottenham squad.

Contract talks had stalled between the two parties, but Artemov has claimed that despite interest from abroad, the striker wants to remain a Spurs player.

“In two weeks time, I will fly to London. There will be a meeting with chairman Daniel levy and we will discuss the extension of the contract.

“As I have said, I want to improve the personal terms for Roman. There is a good feeling that everything will end well, as both parties are keen to continue their co-operation.

“A German club has addressed me, but Pavlyuchenko does not want to go anywhere. He is fine at Tottenham, because he has already made himself at home in the team.”

  1. He wants more money we should be taking it off him let him go i say he misses to many chances and is first touch lets him down a lot. We are losing the plot Beckham yes Neville no we will be loaning younger players out and bringing in older players in there twilight of there careers. With this energy influx not being policed we need youth to combat this like Townsend Walker and Bostock should be kept at the club and let them train with Beckham.

  2. Pav is too lazy to do well in England and he has got a cheek trying for a better deal from us when he is already on a fortune.

Ship out Pav and get in a proper striker who wants to play for us.

Off to Birmingham for you Pav.

Get Carroll in from Newcastle to replace him and make use of the midfield service Spurs provide.

    • Carroll? Pav is too lazy to do well? i think he has done quite well considering his limited game time and playing under a manager who despises him. If Pav is not good enough, how in gods name hows crouch ever played a premier league match,

  3. I like having Pav around. Technically he is very good + his strike rate (in terms of minutes on pitch) is pretty good. He seems settled and certainly offers far far more than Crouch.

  4. Pav has always scored when it mattered. He is a good striker of the ball and good footballing sense. I'd much rather get Crouch out and Carroll over even Piquonne in.

  5. Happy Pav is staying as he is lots better than Crouch and needs more playing time and a run to be sharp. It’s not easy to have few minutes every two weeks and do well…
