Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting on Twitter after watching Tanguy Ndombele in training for France.

The Lyon midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to North London this summer (Le10Sport) with Mauricio Pochettino set to become active in the transfer market after nearly eighteen months without any new additions to his squad.

The 22-year-old had an impressive season with Lyon as he helped the club finish third in Ligue 1.

Ndombele took part in a training session with the French national team yesterday with a video clip emerging of him playing a beautiful assist to his Lyon team-mate Leo Dubois who finished the chance beyond the goalkeeper.

Some Spurs fans have certainly become even more excited about the prospect of Ndombele arriving at the club if he can this kind of creativity to the team which will certainly be lacking if Christian Eriksen departs the club as many expect.

  1. I do respect the way Daniel Levy has taken all the criticism over the years regarding his tight hold on the purse strings in the transfer market, but he still stuck to his way no matter what. Let’s face facts Levy is an amazing business man and he has taken our mid table team to be a team to be feared and respected and what he has done for our club off the field is nothing short of Legendary and I for one ‘Thank You’ for all you have done Sir Daniel Levy (it should be). Although even you Mr Levy know that there comes a time in business when you need to spend big if your company is going to take a seat at the big table where you can make the big money and reap the rewards that this team deserve all because you Dared To Do now the ball is in your court Daniel Levy/
