‘Perfect’ – Samir Nasri makes claim about Harry Kane and Kylian Mbappe

Former Arsenal midfielder Samir Nasri has told Paris Saint-Germain to snap up Harry Kane rather than Victor Osimhem during the summer transfer window.

Manchester United and Bayern Munich were thought to be the teams leading the chase for Kane’s signature until a few days ago before Le Parisien revealed on Tuesday that PSG were also eyeing a shock move for the Tottenham man this summer.

The report explained that with Lionel Messi set to depart the club, the Ligue 1 giants want to surround Kylian Mbappe with top attacking talent and have identified the England captain as someone who can complement the 24-year-old’s skillset.

It was asserted that while others such as Osimhen and Randal Kolo Muani were also on the Parisisan’s radar, the Spurs star had shot to the ‘very top’ of their wishlist ahead of the summer.

Nasri believes that Kane’s game will complement Mbappe’s skill set much better than Osimhen would.

When asked if PSG should snap up the Napoli star, the 35-year-old told Canal Plus (): “No no, not Victor Osimhen. The way he plays does not correspond to PSG.

“I think a striker like Harry Kane would be perfect for PSG. He picks up the ball, he is the pivot around which Kylian Mbappe can turn.”

If Tottenham do decide to cash in on Kane, there is no doubt that Levy would prefer to sell the striker to a foreign club.

However, there is no chance that the 29-year-old would leave the Premier League without breaking Alan Shearer’s record, which is why Man Utd are seemingly the only viable option for him.
