Peter Crouch makes confident score prediction for Tottenham vs Chelsea

Peter Crouch expects Tottenham Hotspur to brush Chelsea aside comfortably on Monday.

Spurs need a win against the Blues at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to reclaim their place at the summit of the Premier League table after Manchester City’s win over Bournemouth on Saturday.

Ange Postecoglou’s men also have the chance to go five points clear of Arsenal after their North London rivals fell to a 1-0 loss at St James’ Park.

Chelsea have struggled to pick up results consistently this season but they have given a good account of themselves against top opposition, having held both Liverpool and Arsenal to draws.

Peter Crouch expects a simple Tottenham victory

Mauricio Pochettino will perhaps be looking at this big London derby as the game that could kickstart Chelsea’s season but another loss would pile the pressure on him just a few months into his reign at Stamford Bridge.

Crouch believes that Chelsea would not be able to live with Tottenham, backing his former side to maintain their perfect home record.

He said on That Peter Crouch Podcast about Monday’s game: “I’m strong for Spurs here. I’m 3-0 Spurs, I’m going.”
