Peter Crouch reveals what impresses him most about Thomas Frank at Tottenham so far

Peter Crouch has noticed that Thomas Frank has added something significant to Tottenham after they ground out another Premier League win away from home.

Spurs had the best away record in the Premier League heading into the clash against Leeds, and they showed just why that is the case at Elland Road.

While the home side started on the front foot, Tottenham kept their discipline and counter-attacked with great effect throughout the game.

In the end, a first goal of the season for Mathys Tel and a first-ever goal in a Spurs shirt for Mohammed Kudus were enough to see the North Londoners march into the international break with a win.

Peter Crouch is impressed by Tottenham’s character

A few days ago, Thomas Frank praised the attitude and fight his players showed to salvage a draw against Bodo/Glimt after finding themselves 2-0 down in 66 minutes.

Crouch felt that the character that the Dane has instilled in this Spurs side was in evidence again at Elland Road, praising the away side for managing to walk away from the stadium with all three points.

The former Tottenham striker told TNT Sports Ultimate (4/10/25 – 14:26): “Tottenham are just showing their character at the moment. Getting a late goal at Bodo/Glimt [in the Champions League] and coming here, a tough environment, for an early kick-off against Leeds.

“To come through that shows how far Thomas Frank has taken them in the short time he’s been at the club.”

Mohammed Kudus stars again for Tottenham

Kudus was once again the star of the show for the Lilywhites against Leeds, and this time, he not only got an assist but also found the back of the net.

The winger has undoubtedly been Tottenham’s most consistent attacker so far this season, and he got just rewards for the efforts that he has put in, both defensively and going forward.

Kudus has been in a league of his own in the Premier League this season when it comes to chance-creation and take-ons, and the £55m that the club paid for him seems like a steal at the moment.
