Andros Townsend has taken to Twitter to post a photo of himself along with other members of the Tottenham Hotspur youth team that he played alongside when coming through the ranks in North London.
While not every player made the grade at Spurs there are some familiar faces alongside Townsend including Ryan Mason and Steven Caulker however there was no appearance from Harry Kane who is no doubt resting up following his involvement in the Champions League final and his recent England call-up.
Townsend, Mason and Caulker are the three who have gone on to have the most successful careers with the trio all having been capped at senior international level by England.
Some other players in the photo went on to play elsewhere including Dean Parrett, Jordan Archer, Oscar Janssen and Jonathan Miles.
It’s great to see that despite the different fortunes and fame some have experienced, they all remember their roots at Tottenham and still meet up.
