Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has appeared to mock Tottenham Hotspur’s Eric Dier in a social media post.
Ramsey, who was named on the bench for the North London derby was involved in the mass melee between both sets of players after Dier had headed Spurs level on the half hour.
Dier put his finger to his mouth as if to tell the Emirates crowd to be quiet which caused the Arsenal substitutes who were warming up to get involved.
The Spurs man told Ramsey to go and sit back down on the bench and now the Welsh international has posted a photo on Instagram with the hashtag #sitdownhesaid accompanying a photo showing him
with a wry smile on his face after his side came out as 4-2 victors.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side will be looking to bounce back from the derby disappointment when they take on Southampton at Wembley on Wednesday evening in the Premier League.
