Tottenham Hotspur have been heavily linked with Real Madrid attacking midfielder Dani Ceballos over the last couple of weeks, after the player showed impressive form in the U21 European Championships for Spain (Estadio Deportivo).

Not only this, but AS have reported that the Spaniard is also very keen to work with Mauricio Pochettino next season at Tottenham.

Unfortunately, the deal may be hitting somewhat of a stumbling block, as Ceballos does not want to be sold this summer (Onda Cero) but Tottenham are rumoured to only be interested in a permanent deal, or at least the option for one (Football London).

Ceballos has added fuel to the rumours today by posting a photograph of him posing in a London phone box with a series of emojis today, although the picture was actually taken at Universal Studios in Florida.

The first emoji shows a face with a monocle, perhaps hinting at the British. This is followed by a thinking emoji and then one with a finger on its lips. Is he trying to tell us something?

  1. This is all very fine signing / loaning but we still need more top class players the top 5 / 6 clubs are recruiting the best of the best players we need to buy not loan out until the next season`s players , I know we have spent well including the Stadium but the Stadium can`t play football come on Levy get a move on all we hear is UTD UTD UTD , CITY CITY CITY CHEL CHEL CHEL , ARS ARS ARS , LIV LIV LIV the players we want we need before other clubs nip in we want clubs to fear us this season .

  2. Spurs would need at least another 2 quality signings irrespective of whether Eriksen stay or leave. A back up striker is a MUST. Personally I think Donny van der Beek (Ajax) would be another perfect addition to the squad.
