Photo: Dele Alli posts positive four-word update in latest social media update

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli has taken to Instagram to post a positive update during the international break.

Dele has played just 73 minutes of Premier League football for Tottenham this season and has failed to make the match day squad for six of the eight top flight fixtures to date.

While the likes of Eric Dier, Harry Kane and Harry Winks are currently on international duty with England, Dele has shared a photo on the social networking platform undertaking a stretching exercise along with the caption ‘Make improvements, not excuses’.

Spurs fans will certainly be hoping that it is a sign that the former MK Dons player is focused on winning his place back in Jose Mourinho’s side in a bid to recapture the form which propelled him into the limelight during his early years at White Hart Lane.

The 24-year-old has also been hampered by hamstring issues in recent years and suffered two strains last season (Evening Standard).
