Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Erik Lamela was not named in the squad for this afternoon’s pre-season friendly against Birmingham City.
The Argentine featured in yesterday’s 4-1 win against Reading at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with the 28-year-old scoring a well placed free-kick into the corner of the net.
Lamela has taken to Instagram this afternoon to share a post of the birth of his new child.
The former Roma player can be seen wearing a face mask and gown and in a second photo, his partner can be seen holding their new born child along with the caption ‘Welcome Thiago, we love you”.
