Photo: Fan-led organisation arrange stunning tifo at Tottenham Stadium for Sporting match

A fan-led organisation that is behind displays at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium have given a sneak peek of the tifo which will be on show ahead of tomorrow’s Champions League clash against Sporting.

Each supporter in the 17,500 capacity south stand will hold up a coloured card for 60 seconds to bring to life the design featuring the club’s cockerel emblem and the words ‘THFC’.

The club have previously organised tifos for the Champions League semi-final first leg against Ajax and also ahead of the north London derby at home to Arsenal in May of this year, however, on this occasion, full credit has to go to THFC Flags and those who have helped to fund it, including rapper and fellow fan AJ Tracey.

Tottenham head into the fixture knowing that victory will secure their place in the knockout stage of the tournament.

THFC Flags are also responsible for the giant flags which are seen on display in the south stand featuring designs to include the likes of club legends Gary Mabbutt, Bill Nicholson while current players such as Richarlison and Cuti Romero are also represented.

A big thank you to THFC Flags, AJ Tracey and also the volunteers who were at the stadium today to ensure a card was placed on each of the 17,500 seats.

These type of initiatives greatly help to improve the atmosphere at the stadium and it would be refreshing to see the club in future to help to cover costs.
