Michel Vorm departed Tottenham Hotspur last month following the expiration of his contract and was joined heading out of the door by Jan Vertonghen.
The Belgian brought an end to his eight-year association with the North Londoners, while Vorm only re-joined the club in October following Hugo Lloris’ elbow injury.
Vorm has taken to his Instagram story to react to a photo which has been mocked up showing Vertonghen wearing a Benfica jersey and reacted to the image with three ‘flame’ Emoji’s.
The BBC reported earlier today that the 33-year-old is set for a medical with the Portuguese giants and will sign a three-year contract.
The former Spurs goalkeeper in our opinion may have just given the most credible hint that Vertonghen is on his way to Portugal.
