Tottenham Hotspur supporters were once again left disappointed when their side failed to beat Sheffield United on Saturday.
Spurs came into the clash in North London having comfortably beaten Red Star Belgrade 4-0 in Serbia in midweek and were searching for the first successive victory of the new season.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side faltered against the Premier League newcomers who looked the livelier of the two sides.
Pochettino handed Giovani Lo Celso his first top flight start following his impressive performance in the Champions League in which he netted his first goal for the club.
Despite being one of the very few players on display on Saturday to come out of the game with any sort of credibility, the Argentine was unable to influence the match.
Ahead of the international break, he has taken to Instagram to post a photo of the Spurs players standing alongside each other before the match against the Blades along with the caption ‘Together’ to emphasise the unity amongst the group.
