Harry Kane has taken to Twitter prior to Tottenham Hotspur’s match against Liverpool this evening.
The Spurs striker underwent surgery today to repair a ruptured tendon in his left hamstring which he suffered in the New Year’s Day defeat at Southampton.
The 26-year-old is not expected back in training until April which means Jose Mourinho is currently relying on Heung-Min Son and Lucas Moura to fill the void.
Kane revealed that his surgery went well and considers today to be the first day of his recovery, he posted a photo of himself watching his team-mates in action whilst wearing a brace on his left leg.
