Tottenham’s Harry Winks has appeared to confirm the exit on both Jan Vertonghen and Michel Vorm after the end to another season in North London.
Following the 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace today, Winks posted a photograph of himself, Vorm, Vertonghen, Heung-min Son, and Harry Kane with the following caption:
‘Gonna miss these two. Been a huge part of my career since I came through the academy both on and off the pitch. All the best in your next chapters boys.’
Vertonghen joined Tottenham eight years ago and played 315 games in a Lilywhite shirt, scoring 12 goals in that time.
Michel Vorm joined Spurs back in 2014 and, although he only ever managed 48 appearances, he proved to be a loyal and able deputy for the club.
From what Winks has posted, it seems as if they are both now on the way out of North London. Good luck, boys!
