A photo has emerged on social media which was taken during Heung-min Son’s military service.
The Tottenham Hotspur striker is currently undertaking a four-week spell of national service in the South Korean military which must be served by the law of his home country.
The service was originally due to last 21 months, but Son earned an exemption in 2018 when he led South Korea to the Asian Games title (BBC).
Son was photographed wearing The Republic of Korea Armed Forces tracksuit whilst also sporting a new haircut.
As part of the requirements, those who undertake the training must have short hair with the Evening Standard reporting that some of the cut hair is bagged with the intention of providing it to families of soldiers killed while on duty in the event they are unable to recover the body.
Son has not featured for Spurs since he fractured hisd uring the early stages of the win against Aston Villa in February.
