Tottenham Hotspur were far from their best again away to Watford today, but they will consider themselves very unlucky to have not come away with all three points.
After a good ball in from Aurier, there was a scramble in the box, with Erik Lamela flicking the ball towards toward while lying on the ground.
As it deflected and trickled towards the far corner, a Watford defender was able to clear it off the line and one look towards Michael Oliver’s watch said no goal.
On further inspection, it was shown that Lamela’s effort was just millimetres from crossing the line.
