Tottenham Hotspur’s Tanguy Ndombele has been out injured ever since he came off early in the match against Southampton on New Years Day.

The Frenchman has now sent fans a message on social media, posting an image of himself and Moussa Sissoko with the caption ‘Soon’, which Football London claim is an injury update.

Premier Injuries have listed Ndombele’s potential return date as January 25, which would come next weekend against Southampton in the FA Cup fourth round.

This would certainly be a welcomed return for head coach Jose Mourinho given the injury blow to his compatriot Moussa Sissoko who is expected to return to training in April following knee surgery.

Ndombele has experienced an indifferent season in North London following his club record switch from Lyon after suffering a number of injuries which have limited his ability to play on a regular basis.
