Tottenham Hotspur concluded their tour of the Far East yesterday following the 2-1 defeat to Manchester United.
The match was held in Shanghai and a familiar face came to visit the Spurs squad, Jan Vertonghen has revealed on Twitter.
Vertonghen posted a photo of himself along with former midfielder Mousa Dembele. The midfielder left North London in January to join Chinese Super League side Guangzhou R&F.
Dembele made the 1,436km journey from Guangzhou to meet up with his former team-mates in what is a classy touch from the Belgian.
It’s great to see that he still holds the club close to his heart. Once a Spur, always a Spur.
