Jan Vertonghen ended his eight-year association with Tottenham Hotspur last month following the expiration of his contract.
The Belgian has been taking some time out following the conclusion of the Premier League season to weigh up his next move and has taken to his Instagram story to share a photo of himself on holiday with former team-mate Eric Dier.
The pair were seen spending time together on a boat while the sun was about to set in the distance while enjoying a game of chess.
Vertonghen admitted recently in an interview with talkSPORT that he would miss his former team-mates and everyone associated with the North London club.
