Mauricio Pochettino was spotted back in North London yesterday evening after posing for a photograph outside a popular local restaurant.
The owner of Mayhill’s Cockfosters posted a photo of himself on Instagram alongside the former Tottenham Hotspur boss, who had arrived to pick up a takeaway with the restaurant unable to currently offer table service due to the enforced lockdown in England (Telegraph).
The restaurant is somewhat of a popular haunt for Tottenham players and staff with Gareth Bale, Sergio Reguilon, Matt Doherty, Joe Hart, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Jose Mourinho having all stepped through the door previously.
Pochettino still has close ties to North London with his 19-year-old son Maurizio still part of the club’s Under-23 side and signed a new contract in the summer.
The Argentine was relieved of his duties at Tottenham nearly a year ago by Daniel Levy after a disappointing start to the 2019/20 campaign and has previously admitted of his desire to return to the club in the future (BT Sport).
