It was only a couple of weeks ago that Jose Mourinho seemed like a beaten man. Tottenham’s 2-1 loss to West Ham was the club’s fifth defeat in six Premier League matches and the result seemed to have put them out of the running for the top four.

Reports indicated at the time that Mourinho was at risk of losing his job if the club did not turn their form around.

The Spurs boss came out fighting in his press conference ahead of the second leg of Tottenham’s Europa League Round of 32 clash against Wolfsberger, insisting that he is more motivated than ever to succeed at Spurs.

The Tottenham stars certainly seem to have responded to Mourinho’s rallying call as they produced two dominant performances to beat Wolfsberger and then Burnley 4-0 before earning a hard-fought win at Craven Cottage.

The results certainly seem to have brought some positivity back into the camp as the players looked to be in a good mood in training and Mourinho himself seems much more relaxed in his interviews.

The Tottenham boss’ latest Instagram post certainly seems to reflect his mood as the Portuguese coach shared a picture of a golden cockerel presented to him by Red Bull Racing.

Mourinho, who is self-admittedly a big fan of Formula One, Joao Sacramento and Nuno Santos, were all smiles at Hotspur Way.
