Paul Gascoigne has taken to Twitter to praise his former Tottenham Hotspur team mate Gary Mabbutt.
The pair were reunited on Saturday when Mabbutt was in charge of the Spurs legends side that took on Inter Milan at the new Spurs stadium.
Gascoigne, 51, got the biggest cheer of the evening when he came on to the pitch for a cameo appearance in the 53rd minute in place of Rafael van der Vaart.
Gazza posted a photo of himself and Mabbutt at the new stadium and paid tribute to his former captain who managed to play at the highest level despite battling with diabetes during his career.
