Pierre-Emile Højbjerg has wasted no time in showing off a new look following Denmark’s Euro 2020 heartbreak.
The Tottenham Hotspur midfielder was back in London yesterday but was unable to help his side avoid being eliminated from the tournament following England’s 2-1 win during extra time.
Højbjerg had performed brilliantly for the Dane’s during their campaign which started off in the worst possible way following Christian Eriksen’s traumatic cardiac arrest during the opening fixture against Finland.
His wife, Josephine took to Instagram to post a photo on her story of the 25-year-old at the wheel of his car along with the caption “He’s home and the beard is off.”
Højbjerg ended his Euro 2020 campaign with three assists from their six fixtures and will now look to spend some time off before reporting back for duty with Spurs ahead of the first season under the management of Nuno Espirito Santo.

Højbjerg was impressive during his first season at Tottenham and following his efforts for Denmark, in somewhat of a more advanced role, fans will be hoping that he can continue his form under Nuno.
