The Tottenham squad spent the last few days in Barcelona as a part of a mid-season warm weather training camp. Pochettino decided to use the extended break to do some tactical work with his players in the Catalan capital.
It was reported that Pochettino also allowed the players to spend their evenings with their families, wives, and girlfriends.
Tottenham have had a poor few weeks in which they only picked up 1 point from a possible 12 on offer against Burnley, Chelsea, Arsenal, and Southampton.
So the getaway was also important in getting the players’ minds off the recent results and getting them focussed on the final run in.
All the Spurs players and staff posed for a group photo from the Olympic Stadium on Thursday. Pochettino, in particular, stood out from the picture as he had pulled up his shorts in the fashion that Cristiano Ronaldo usually does.

Maybe the Argentine is hoping that aping Ronaldo’s antics would help the team progress far in the Champions League.
