Tottenham Hotspur currently have only one senior striker within their squad for the new season, with that man being Harry Kane.
While Kane is a more than competent lone forward, he has been known to pick up ankle ligament injuries in recent seasons, which may be a worry for Tottenham.
If Kane was to pick up a nasty problem this season, the only out-and-out striker to come in would be young Troy Parrott, with Heung Min Son and Lucas Moura also able to cover.
Fernando Llorente’s Spurs contract expired back in June, although no announcement was made by the club. Reports suggest that Tottenham have tabled a one year offer to the Spaniard, but on reduced wages (Standard).
Llorente has now apparently been spotted training in Spurs gear out in Marbella.

Reportedly was Markel Susaeta, Fernando Llorente, Gorka Iraizoz, Xabi Etxeita and Jonás Ramalho.
