Photo: Spurs pair pose for photo in what could be their last training session for the club

Tottenham Hotspur make the trip to Crystal Palace tomorrow to bring the curtain down on what has been a season which no fan will forget.

Along with the disruption of the coronavirus pandemic, there has also been disappointment on the field with the club failing to secure a place in the Champions League for the first time in five years.

Tomorrow could also be the last time in which the North London faithful get to see Jan Vertonghen pull on the famous lilywhite shirt.

The Belgian along with Michel Vorm were both set to be out of contract in June but penned temporary extensions when the season was extended (Sky Sports).

Vertonghen, who joined Spurs in 2012 from Ajax has suggested he would like to play in Italy or Spain and has said there have been “serious” offers for him (Play Sports Kot).

The 33-year-old took to his Instagram story earlier this evening to post a photo of himself alongside Vorm at Hotspur Way in what could be the pair’s final training session for the club.
