Tottenham Hotspur’s Dane Scarlett has announced his return from injury on social media with a photo of him back on the pitch and a one-word caption of ‘back’.
Scarlett had been on the sidelines for a couple of weeks after picking up an injury but returned to action for 45 minutes against Norwich City U18, even picking up a goal.
Scarlett now has 24 goals and five assists from 25 games across all competitions and ages this season, including three run-outs with the senior team under Jose Mourinho.
The youngster will now be hoping to finish the season strong and make a case for himself in pre-season for whoever takes charge of Spurs following Mourinho’s sacking.
