Tottenham Hotspur once again passed up the opportunity to move albeit temporarily into fourth place in the Premier League yesterday evening.

While Spurs were being held to a 2-2 draw against Norwich City, defender Danny Rose was spotted in the crowd watching the darts at London’s Alexandra Palace after the official PDC Twitter account posted a photo of him at 10:09pm on 28/12/19.

The evening session of the darts tournament started at 19:00 and featured the likes of Gerwyn Price vs Simon Whitlock (PDC).

The left-back came on as a late substitute in the 2-0 defeat against Chelsea prior to Christmas and was not included in the squad which beat Brighton in North London on Boxing Day.

Rose was nowhere to be seen at Carrow Road last night when the club not mentioning his fitness in any team updates.

PA Sport journalist Jonathan Veal confirmed during the game that the England international currently has a muscular injury.

Spurs head coach Jose Mourinho has preferred in recent weeks to play Jan Vertonghen on the left side of his defence ahead of Rose.

It is not known as of yet if the 29-year-old will be fit to make the trip to Southampton on New Year’s Day.
