Photo: William Gallas singles out Spurs pair on social media after Fulham draw

Former central defender William Gallas has criticised Tottenham Hotspur’s defending which led to Fulham scoring their equaliser last night.

The French international who played 78 games in all competitions for Spurs took a screenshot of the moment before Ademola Lookman beat Davinson Sanchez to cross the ball into the penalty area.

Ivan Cavaleiro found himself in space in the Spurs box with Eric Dier picking up nobody while Sergio Reguilon was closest to Ivan Cavaleiro with the Fulham man rising highest to head the ball beyond Hugo Lloris.

Gallas claimed that Tottenham’s central defenders have to defend better than what they showed, which ended up costing them the chance to go third in the Premier League table.

The 43-year-old took to his Instagram story to highlight what he believes is Tottenham’s frailties at the back.

Gallas has previously blasted Eric Dier after claiming that the England man ‘doesn’t have the soul of a defender’ (Instagram).
