Photos: Leaked photos emerge showing transfer target meeting with Jose Mourinho at Hotspur Way

Leaked photos from De Telegraaf have emerged online which appear to show PSV Eindhoven winger Steven Bergwijn meeting with Tottenham Hotspur head coach Jose Mourinho.

The photographs also show the 22-year-old and his family holding up the Tottenham shirt in what can be viewed as a clear signal that the deal has been completed.

Bergwijn, who made his international debut in October 2018, was kept out of PSV training this week and has been in London to undergo a medical at Tottenham.

Spurs are said to have agreed a fee of €30m (£25.4m) for Dutch international, plus €2m in add-ons (Guardian).

He will become the club’s third signing of the January transfer window following the arrival of Gedson Fernandes from Benfica along with the permanent deal in place for Giovani Lo Celso which was confirmed yesterday.

Mourinho is also said to be keen on recruiting a striker ahead of Friday’s deadline following Harry Kane’s hamstring injury which will see him not return to training until at least April.
