Tottenham Hotspur were hoping to be all settled into their new stadium by this point in the season, but in reality, they still find themselves playing at temporary home Wembley.
Due to their new stadium delays, they were forced to sign a last minute extension with the FA to use the national stadium until December 15.
What this meant was that Wembley was already booked out by other franchises by the time they signed this extension.
Therefore Tottenham v Man City must now be played on a Monday, a day after the Wembley turf has been battered by an NFL game.
The first of three NFL games before the City match was played this weekend, and the grass already looks as though it is feel the strain.
Manchester Evening News report Man City are concerned about the state of the pitch for their upcoming tie with Spurs.
Nonetheless, the game will go ahead, and the two teams who pride themselves on passing football may be forced to change it up a bit.
Soon after the game ended it began pouring buckets on Wembley and flooded some of the pitch. Bloody-good thing #Seahawks had already won by then pic.twitter.com/7uVRZkEb8P
