Photos- Tottenham pitch gets marked and goal posts go back up

It has been a very slow summer for Tottenham fans in regards to their brand new 62,000 seat stadium.

The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has been delayed for over a month now, with the original opening date being September 15 against Liverpool.

However, one month on and the stadium doesn’t look far away from being finished, finally.

The seats are all in place and the turf was laid about a week ago, with the goal posts also fitted and checked during that period.

There has been more action at the stadium site this week already, as the grass has bedded in enough for the groundsmen to start marking out the pitch.

Latest pictures show the iconic white football markings and the goal posts which have now been re-installed at either end of the pitch.

With stadium access cards arriving this week, it may not be long at all until the doors finally open to the brand new stadium.
