Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp is set to renew his interest in Everton winger Steven Pienaar.

According to The Sun, Redknapp fears he could miss out on signing Joe Cole and is lining up the South African midfielder as a possible alternative.

Spurs had an offer rejected by Everton at the end of last season, but could test David Moyes’ resolve by offering either Robbie Keane or Jermaine Jenas as part of a deal.

  1. Can't help thinking that another little fella good on the ball in the middle of the park might not be the answer. What Spurs really need is a Wold Class Striker.

  2. This should not happen trust me when i say this he proved in the World Cup he is not has good has is premier form suggests . Next year some players form will drop rapidly because of target testing we should be careful who we buy how much would we pay for Upson Rooney and a few others on there World cup form. Keane and Jenas could take six points of us along with all the other players we play against in other Teams like Sunderland it could haunt us .
