‘Play him over Eriksen’ – Some Spurs fans want on-loan academy starlet to get a chance

Tottenham Hotspur have been struggling in all departments of late, from goalkeeping to defending, all the way up to making chances at the other end of the pitch.

In times like these, it is important to have some talented central midfielders to not only work hard off the ball, but create space and goals too.

One Spurs man who is doing that with ease at the moment is unfortunately not currently at the club, with young Jack Roles being out on loan with Cambridge United.

The 20-year-old picked up the man of the match award in a 2-2 draw with Macclesfield Town this weekend, with the midfielder ever opening the scoring.

Roles hit the ball first time from over 30-yards out to see it skim across the grass and into the bottom corner to make it 1-0.

Some Spurs fans now want to see Roles get a chance in the first team, perhaps by dropping the likes of Christian Eriksen.
