Tottenham Hotspur thrashed Huddersfield Town 4-0 yesterday afternoon to register their third straight win at the new stadium.
The result puts Tottenham in a commanding position to finish within the top four places in the Premier League table.
Mauricio Pochettino made seven changes to the side that won against Manchester City on Tuesday night, with Fernando Llorente partnering Lucas Moura upfront.
While Llorente was a constant threat up front as he showed some great touches and held the ball up well, Lucas Moura netted his first hat-trick in a Tottenham shirt with three well-taken finishes.
However, the star of the show was once again Moussa Sissoko, with the Frenchman producing a commanding performance in the heart of midfield.
The 29-year-old, who has been one of Spurs’ most consistent performers this season, produced a powerful all-around performance in both defence and attack.
Some Spurs fans on social media couldn’t help but rave about the midfielder’s performance against the Terriers.
Here’s how they reacted to Sissoko’s performance

Moussa Sissoko is the perfect modern-day football fairytale and deserves to win the ‘Player Of The Season’ award at Tottenham Hotspur come the end of this campaign.
The way he’s transformed his career at Spurs is just simply remarkable and a lesson to never give up.#THFC #COYS pic.twitter.com/48V22mYFSf

Standing ovation for Moussa Sissoko, best player on the pitch. Still don’t think I’ve seen a turnaround like it.
