Player ratings from Spurs’ Audi Cup win over Bayern Munich

Tottenham Hotspur have got their hands on a piece of silverware, albeit a pre-season trophy. Spurs beat Bayern Munich to lift the Audi Cup this evening after winning on penalties.

But, how did they players do? Let’s take a look at Tottenham’s player ratings:

Hugo Lloris – 6 – Didn’t have a lot to do but no mistakes and solid work from the Frenchman.

Kyle Walker-Peters – 7.5 – Defender well and was always an outlet down the right-hand side.

Davinson Sanchez – 7 – Another mature performance from the Colombian defender, looks to be growing in his role within Poch’s squad.

Jan Vertonghen – 6.5 – His usual steady performance, although he didn’t get much of a chance to carry the ball forward today.

Danny Rose – 7.5 – Didn’t get to the byline much but he was an absolute brick wall in defence. No nonsense performance from the left-back.

Harry Winks – 6.5 – Another steady game from Winks, picking up the pace a little from his other pre-season outings.

Moussa Sissoko – 7.5 – Looked more like himself out there today, powerful, strong, a real driving force. Was left out for too long and risked injury though.

Dele Alli – 6 – Shows bits and pieces of good skill but there is no consistency to his games at this moment in time.

Erik Lamela – 7 – Good work rate again and got on the ball a lot in midfield. Good movement for the opening goal.

Georges-Kevin Nkoudou – 7.5 – A generous score for that one sensational run and cross. Perhaps a second chance on the cards?

Lucas Moura – 6.5 – Wasn’t quite his composed self on the ball today, but still a real threat up front for Tottenham.

SUBS:

Paulo Gazzaniga – 8 – The hero of the penalty shootout.

Juan Foyth – 4 – Got skinned down the right a few times out there. Not nice to see him stretchered off the pitch though.

Toby Alderweireld – 7.5 – Good defending for the most part, a solid penalty, and a great ball out to the wing in the build up to Eriksen’s goal.

Japhet Tanganga – 9 – Amazing performance all around again. Seems to do nothing wrong in defence and even helped out with a nice penalty.

Harvey White – 7 – Looks a good talent, especially when you consider he is playing out of position. Good cross on the lad and a very mature performance.

Oliver Skipp – 6.5 – Good work from Skipp again today, covered a lot of ground and blocked a couple of shots. Nice penalty in the shootout too.

Christian Eriksen – 7 – Took his goal expertly but left a lot to be desired in the penalty shootout.

Heung Min Son – 6.5 – A real livewire again, but not with the same end product today. Defended well for the team though.

Harry Kane – 7 – Solid performance from Kane. Set up Eriksen’s goal and put his pen right in the top bin.

Jack Roles – 5.5 – Had little impact when he came on but did score a nice pen.

Anthony Georgiou – 5 – Filled in at left-back. Would have expected him to raise his hand for a pen being a 22-year-old though.

George Marsh – 5 – Came on and filled in at right-back towards the end.
