Player ratings from the win against Wolves

Tottenham Hotspur just about clinched the victor against newly promoted Wolves yesterday, winning the game 3-2.

It was a real game of two halves, with Spurs dominating the first before being pegged back in their own half by the impressive Wolves in the second.

Here are our player ratings for the game:

Hugo Lloris – 8

One of his best performances in recent weeks, Lloris managed to put his mishaps behind him and did his team proud when called upon. Pulled off a number of key stops early in the first half, as well as a late punch clear in the dying minutes.

Ben Davies – 7

A typical Davies performance of late, solid defensively but struggled to get forward down that left hand side.

Toby Alderweireld – 7

Solid as usual at the back, but did make the odd mistake early in the game.

Foyth – 5

Unfortunately if we were rating his first half performance alone, it would be far higher, but we can’t ignore the two penalties he gave away. Positives to take for the young man though.

Kieran Trippier – 6

A reoccurring problem for Kieran at the moment. He is offering a lot going forward, like with his perfect cross assist for Moura, but looks full of errors at the back.

Moussa Sissoko – 7

The Frenchman looks a new player this season. Another 90 minutes of hard work, drives down the right hand side, as well as taking on defensive duties.

Mousa Dembele – N/A

Only managed 7 minutes of his 250th Spurs match. Shame the midfield maestro seems to be unable to shake his injury woes.

Harry Winks – 7

Yet another impressive performance from the young man in midfield. He looks to be maturing with every game.

Lucas Moura – 7

Grabbed a goal but really found it tricky to find space and impact the game consistently as he normally does.

Erik Lamela – 9

Another game, another goal, another assist. The Argentine is on fire.

Harry Kane – 7

Harry added another goal to his impressive tally this season, as he has already grabbed six in the league. Looks to be regaining his best form bit by bit.

Substitutes-

Heung Min Son – 7

Difficult for Sonny to come on so early and unexpected, but the winger did a great job driving down the left hand side and was a constant threat.

Christian Eriksen – 6

Still looks a way away from his best and sharpest form, but more minutes under his belt.

Davinson Sanchez – N/A
