Player Ratings vs Burnley

Robbie Keane - Header

Cudicini (7) – Lucky to get away with dropped free-kick, otherwise solid.

Corluka (7) – A poor game last week, much better today

Assou-Ekotto (7) – Almost an 8. Faultless & classy looking at the back but doesn’t do enough going forward, but with no real defensive cover in front of him it’s perhaps not surprising.

Huddlestone (7) – At times Franz Beckenbauer, at others Titus Bramble.

Bassong (7) – Still learning but did well. His distribution got shown up with Huddlestone next to him.

Lennon (7) – Generally a bit quiet but a threat when involved.

Jenas (8) – Authoritative and assured, the biggest midfield influence. Great if he played like this all the time.

Palacios (6) – Booked again and caught in possession several times. Worked well with Jenas but doesn’t seem totally with it at the moment.

Kranjcar (7) – Easy game for him with so much space around. Played with his head up which was good to see.

Defoe (6) – Did well to get the penalty but uncharacteristically wasteful.

Keane (9) – Excellent penalty when under pressure after his earlier miss. Clinical finishing for his second and third goals.

  1. Keano needs to change Nationality to get a 10 (but he will never sink that low lol). Don’t be surprised to see the ‘boo boys’ out again, in force, when he fails to score 4 next week……COYS!

  2. This makes me proud because all the players hi have trupeted have all come good lennon hudds and keano this year my fingers where flicking words to my fellow spurs fans singing the praises of these three. when all around spurs fans slagged them of lennon no end product hudds to slow keano lost is goal touch our fans were like a loving wife whos husband left her for a better model but came back with is tale between is legs and she wont let him foget it .Hudds cant tackle to slow we failed to notice three things lennon two knee ops keans failings at liverpool and hudds weight . NOW HUDDS IS SLIMMERR MORE MOBILE BOTH IN DEFENCE AND MIDFIELD .KEANO IS COMMING OUT OF IS DARK CLOUD LOVED AND FOGIVEN HE WILL SHINE EVEN MORE LENNON WHEN HE COMES DOWN FROM IS MAN OF THE MATCH DISPLAY FOR ENGLAND WILL TERRORISE DEFENDERS AGAIN IF HE HASENT BEAN TAPPED AT THE ENGLAND GAMES BOTH LENNON AND DEFOE HAVE NOT HIT THERE HIGH STANDARDS SINCE HOPING LETS HOPE ITS A BLIP. COYS

  3. Keano didn’t get 10?! You’re right. Not getting a Prem League record 5 goals in a game is slap to the face of all the fans. Keano should have worked harder.
