PLAYER RATINGS: West Brom 1-1 Tottenham

Hugo Lloris – He was not called into action for much of the game but he made an absolute world class save against Olsson in the second half.

Kyle Walker – He was above average for most of the game apart from the West Brom goal. He should have been tighter on McClean and got punished for his mistake.

Danny Rose – A decent enough game from the left back but he should have done much better in the attacking third in my opinion.

Toby Alderweireld – A rock at the back as he provided the assist for Alli and stayed calm in a game where almost everybody panicked and made mistakes.

Jan Vertonghen – A disappointing game from the centre back as he was bullied by Rondon at every opportunity. When he was not though, he made silly mistakes and put pressure on his team.

Eric Dier – His worst performance of the season as he was never assuring on or off the ball. He got sucked in to the frantic pace of the game and made costly mistakes, especially in the West Brom goal.

Christian Eriksen – He could have done much better today as he found the pockets of spaces he craves but he never delivered that killer ball.

Dele Alli – A super goal in the early stages of the game but his contribution died down afterwards. In the second half he almost got an assist with a beautiful dink to Kane but that was about it for him.

Erik Lamela – An almost anonymous performance if not for his defensive contributions. He looked like his 2014 self again in the attack and that is not what Pochettino wants.

Mousa Dembele – He started the game shaky and error-prone, but he grew into the game with some silky dribbling. He was the best player for Spurs in the second half but his energy was not enough to find a winner.

Harry Kane – A really frustrating game for the striker as he worked really hard for his team but left alone in the attacking third. He was crowded out of the ball for much of the game.

Subs

Heung-Min Son – A lacklustre sub performance from the Korean as he never threatened the West Brom back 4.

Clinton N’Jie – A late cameo for the Cameroonian almost turned into a brilliant one but the assistant referee did not want him to score.
