Player’s brother confirms interest from two English clubs – Spurs previously linked

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked to a number of players of late as the rumour mill swirls regarding who Jose Mourinho will bring in as his first Spurs signing.

One man who has been reported as a Tottenham target is Hellas Verona player Sofyan Amrabat. If reports are to be believed, the man is in high demand too, with the likes of West Ham, Inter Milan, Napoli, and Fiorentina also interested (CalcioMercato).

While many fans will be quick to dismiss articles containing transfer rumours, especially when the window is not yet open, there may be more concrete evidence pointing at potential Spurs interest.

Sofyan’s brother, Nordin, who used to play for Watford, claimed in a recent interview that two English sides are interested in his sibling. He seems to have received this information straight from his brother’s agent too (Corriere dello Sport).

It remains to be seen whether this is true and whether Spurs are able to jump to the front of the queue.
