Tottenham Hotspur fans may be in for a treat if Paul Gascoigne gets his way, with the former fan favourite determined to be involved in the upcoming legends match.

Spurs are to hold a legends game on the 31st of this month as their second test event for the new stadium opening.

Before Tottenham can fully open the ground for a competitive game on April 3 against Crystal Palace, they must first successfully hold two tests.

The first will be this weekend with an under 18s match planned, before the legends game later in the month.

Jermaine Jenas, Rafael Van Der Vaart, Dimitar Berbatov and Robbie Keane are just a few names on the growing lists of past legends.

Gascoigne was not invited to the event, but has expressed an interest in joining it on Twitter, with incredible support from Spurs fans.

Here are how some fans reacted to the news of a possible Gazza return.
