Reacting to reports of Real Madrid’s interest in Harry Kane, several Spurs fans on social media have insisted they would be happy for the striker to join the Spanish giants.
Manchester City fell short in their attempt to reach an agreement with Daniel Levy for Kane over the summer despite the striker allegedly pushing hard for the transfer.
The England captain has looked a shadow of his former self so far this season, with some pundits putting his sub-par performances down to being mentally affected by the failed transfer.
According to reports, Pep Guardiola’s men are unlikely to reignite their interest in Kane in the future after failing to get a deal over the line during the summer.
Spanish outlet Defensa Central have now suggested that Real Madrid are eyeing Kane as a backup option for next summer in case they are unable to land Kylian Mbappe or Erling Haaland.
Some Tottenham fans on social media insisted that they would bite Real Madrid’s hand off if they offered £100m for the 28-year-old.

Spurs Web Opinion
There are a couple of reasons why I do not expect Real Madrid to pursue Kane next summer. Firstly, I fully expect Mbappe to sign with Los Blancos as a free agent next summer (if not for a cut-price fee in January). Secondly, I do not believe Kane would want to move abroad as he still has his eye on Alan Shearer’s record.
