Much has been made of Dele Alli’s new goal celebration this week, as the young midfielder gave it an outing against Newcastle during Spurs’ opening day win.
The English playmaker seems to use his double-jointed thumb to form a circle around his eye. It’s a strange one, but actually pretty difficult once you try, as the likes of Fernando Llorente and N’Koudou found out.
But, during a press conference, Pochettino pointed out that he could in fact replicate the celebration.
“I tried one time and it was perfect! He said ‘fantastic, that’s why you’re the boss’ that’s what he said to me.”
