Poch talks about Son’s upcoming Tottenham departure

Tottenham Hotspur have been in electric form of late, securing four Premier League wins on the bounce.

These have included a 6-2 thrashing of Everton, and a 5-0 thumping of Bournemouth all in the past week.

Heung Min Son scored four goals across those two goals, and has been on top form ever since he score November’s goal of the month against Chelsea.

Sonny offers Spurs pace and width, but also a natural born finisher in front of goal, which is especially useful to alleviate the pressure on Harry Kane.

However, it isn’t all good news, as Son will be leaving the team in January to meet up with his native South Korea.

The national side will be taking part in the Asia Cup, and Son, as captain, is a major part of their team and hopes.

Pochettino has been talking about Sonny’s incredible recent form, and his upcoming exit from North London.

Poch said (Football London): “Two words. Amazing. Un-believable. What can I say, Sonny is doing a fantastic job for the team.

“After November he had a rest and was here trying to recover his best and I think he is doing fantastic.

“He started his fantastic run against Chelsea and until today he is doing a fantastic job for the team. I hope he can keep that level but you know in few weeks he is going to be away from Tottenham because he needs to go with his national team to Dubai to play the Asian Cup.”
