Poch – Tottenham star gets bored

Tottenham Hotspur have a pressure-filled week on their hands, but they traversed game one with ease after smashing Chelsea 3-1.

Mauricio Pochettino’s team missed a host of chances to win the game by five or six goals.

Harry Kane, Heung Min Son, and Dele Alli all managed to get onto the scoresheet against Spurs’ London rivals.

After a stunning display in attacking midfield, the Tottenham boss has now revealed that Dele Alli gets bored without pressure.

Tottenham have a must-win game against Inter Milan in the Champions League tomorrow, followed by a North London derby at the weekend against bitter rivals Arsenal.

These will both prove to be extremely high-pressure situations, so let’s hope that Dele Alli can thrive in both.

Dele Alli recently returned from injury and has been feeling his way back into match play, but the Chelsea game proved to be his first real return to top form.

The BBC report Poch said: “When he is under pressure he is unbelievable.

“He loves a challenge. He is a winner. His mentality is that he gets bored quickly when he doesn’t feel the pressure.”
