Pochettino addresses his future at Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has been at the North London club for over four seasons now, and has taken his Spurs side to the next level.

Under the Argentine, they are now Champions League regulars, and are ready to challenge for titles with a bit of board investment in the coming seasons.

The new stadium is on the way in the new year, and Spurs are currently still fighting on four fronts for silverware.

Poch has still yet to win a trophy in his managerial career, and will be hoping for one of the cups this season.

However, the superb job on a budget of under £30m has not gone unnoticed, as Poch has been linked to both Real Madrid and Man United this season (The Sun).

Madrid sacked Julen Lopetegui in late October, and United are enduring a less than impressive season under Mourinho.

Poch has now addressed the rumours and insists he is happy at Tottenham.

The Daily Star report he said: “The most important thing is I feel so happy here.

“Tottenham has given me the value. I feel happy here in Tottenham because I feel the recognition for our job. We feel that.

“When Daniel Levy extended my contract for five years, it is because he believed in that moment and period, we are the best people to manage this boat and this club. It is recognition for us. The most important thing is how you are made to feel in your home.

“I think what Tottenham have is a clear idea about philosophy and methodology and then of course trying to keep your best players, try to be competitive.

“That is why sometimes in football, of course, money is going to help but it is not the most important.

“Our project is to be consistent and try to improve every season and we will see whether it is enough or not. Many clubs say to be in the top four is a massive success. And for us to be in the top four is more than success.”
