Pochettino aims to find ‘better solutions’ against United

Tottenham blew a two-goal lead last night as we somehow lost 3-2 home to West Ham.
It was nice to see Danny Rose make his first start since January and as first halves go, it was pretty good.

However, Poch rested Harry Kane amongst others , while Christian Eriksen started from the bench and in a crazy 20 minute spell early in the second half we found ourselves 3-2 behind and never recovered.

We now face Manchester United on Saturday (12.30pm) in the start of a possible season defining month ahead.

According to an article in The Express, Mauricio Pochettino has explained why he feels he needs to find “better solutions” ahead of our trip to Old Trafford.

“I think I told you that sometimes you are forced to make rotation and today for different reasons we rested some players,” Pochettino said.
“Of course always a consequence when it’s good or bad.

Pochettino added “Of course we wanted to win that game and do everything to get to the next round.
“But now of course when you lose that doesn’t work and now we need to find different solutions or another solutions to try to be competitive against Manchester United and try again and try to win the game.”

We currently sit third in the table, five points behind league leaders Manchester City, and will need to get something at Old Trafford. This season is going to be about fine margins so good performances against our top 4 rivals are pivotal even at this early stage
